Mike Butcher

Mike is a long time journalist and new media expert, in charge of editing TechCrunch Europe, where he covers the European start-up scene – entrepreneurs and venture capital industry. As well as editing TechCrunch Europe, Mike is involved in a project to bring European technology entrepreneurs and investors together in a London club environment called TechHub.

In 2004 Mike was voted “One of the 100 Innovators of the UK Internet Decade” by GfK NOP, the fourth-largest custom research business in the world. In April 2010 Mike was named one of Britain’s Top 100 “digital power-brokers” by Wired UK magazine.
